Brandon Clack

It was a pleasure meeting and getting to know Brandon Clack. He's from out West and knew a lot of the people I have done work for in the past. Shawn got a chance to hang out with Brandon after meeting him at the Moultrie-Douglas County Fair in Arthur, IL.

"In my book, Brandon Clack is one of the coolest people I've met. I painted a Rockstar/Metal Mulisha T-shirt for him, and he made sure I painted a 'Monster' T-shirt for his brother! Thank you Ken and Brandon Clack. It was a pleasure meeting you!

After Midnight

"John Mumma called me on the way back from Champaign, IL while I was with my friend, Kyle, and I'm glad he did. He said he wanted me to paint his pulling truck. This is one of the first ones I have seen up close-it's a drag truck for the dirt. And it's just as loud and rowdy as anyone could imagine."

John is part of Midnight Motorsports and they have the craziest trucks in the Midwest. John's truck is named After Midnight. Shawn lettered both sides with the name of the truck, and airbrushed the girl on the back of the truck, inspired by the song "Let it all hang out."

"I had a great time with John and his family. I was in Sidney, IL for the week and we had a blast."

"I have to share the glory on this one; Jeremy already had the flames laid out before I got there."

The pulls have become a family event, with everyone coming out to support.

A special thanks goes out to Nelson Paint and Body, Jeremy Nelson, Mark Austin, and especially John Mumma.

Tuscola 4th of July 2010

Independence Day always brings Shawn Ealy Designs to the Sparks in the Park celebration in Tuscola, IL. We spent the whole weekend in the mobile shop, airbrushing T-shirts and hats.

We also decided to give the temporary tattoo stand a run for their money.

As always, Shawn airbrushes a variety of shirts that are unique for each individual.

Custom hats made to order!

It was great to spend the weekend with family and friends. These girls have fun playing in the Mud Volleyball tournament.

The mobile shop was definitely a sight to see, and drew in a lot of new onlookers, as well as residents we see every year.

Over the weekend, Shawn airbrushed a handful of shirts with animals on them. These shirts are extremely detailed and take more time, but if they're that special, they're worth it!

This was a very special dog, and this young man customized his shirt in honor of him.
We had a great time this year, and look forward to setting up next year. Happy 4th!

Never Forgotten Thymes Antiques

Shawn worked in Decatur, IL with Karen at Never Forgotten Thymes Antiques.

Decatur is known for its trains, and Karen chose to play off of that for the mural inside the building.

Shawn Ealy stands in front of the completed mural of the Never Forgotten Thymes train.

Shawn sits out front of the store with Kristian, Johnathan, Karen, and Dustin.
Come check out the store and the mural at 726 E Cerro Gordo St. Decatur IL, 62523.

Leon Williams' 1987 Lectraglide

The artwork on our HD started as a way to honor two very special people. They are our late parents: my mother, Rosemary Lewis Williams, and Dennis Dietrich, the father of my wife, Donna Dietrich.

Both Rosie and Denny were completely positive people. To say their glasses were half full is an understatement. We asked that Shawn incorporate a fire helmet and roses. Denny was a fireman for over 30 years, and Tuscola Chief for most of them. The roses represent the name Rose or Rosie. Shawn also agreed to include a penny somewhere in the art. It has special meaning to our family, in which a penny, when found, always reminds us of Rosie.

The pride we share for our two loved ones will travel down many beautiful miles, thanks to Shawn.

-Leon Williams

"It was a pleasure bringing this project to life. Thank you Leon and Donna."-Shawn

Jordan Smith's Helmet

Jordan Smith is a returning customer, back for a helmet paintjob. He has won 5 Features, 10 Heat races, and 4 Trophy Dashes. His car is a 2010 Tca Camaro with Saw Racing Engines.

He came to Shawn with a hockey mask idea, and it was Shawn's challenge to airbrush the mask onto the helmet, including the hair and ears on both sides, while still keeping it life-like.

Thanks, Jordan! Good luck in your future races.

Shawn Ealy Designs' Mobile Shop

A lot of friends from all over have been asking Shawn to post some pictures of the Mobile Shop. Of course, the best place to see it is at the shows this season, but here it is.

With all the traveling and festival-going, we joke that Shawn is somewhat of a gypsy, like his aunt and uncle were, during show season.

See you on the road!

Glen's Killer Watercraft II

The trip to Vegas allowed Shawn to have some time to do additional work on Glen's boat.

"I couldn't have done it without the help of Mike."

"I have so many hours in the graphics on this boat, and I can't wait to see it out on the water." -Shawn

Chad

While we were in Vegas, we had a chance to visit our good friend, Chad and his family. It was so great to see them again.

Chad even gave us a private concert!
